Thank goodness for weekends. We've moved into a (temporary) new home for the next year, and while we still have boxes that need to be unpacked and things that we need to find homes for, I'm feeling more settled than last week. Much more settled.
The husband has a "settling in" routine that I've learned not to mess with. He knows where all of the garage and electronics boxes are, and his first task is to organize the shelving in the garage and set up the entertainment system. That's what makes it feel like home to him.
Me? I need my shoes out of boxes/bags/suitcases and into their proper shelves. I need a place to put my jewelry. And I need candles.
Speaking of candles and jewelry... here are this week's Friday Favorites!
Tortoise Fascination by jlreyI've been experiencing a year-long fascination with tortoiseshell accessories, starting with a linked tortoiseshell necklace from a friend's boutique & trunk show. It's no longer available on their website, but I did find a cheap copycat option for you to steal, at Claire's of all places!
The gorgeous bracelets are from Baublebar and Baublebar x Anthropologie, and you should get them on your wrists ASAP. I mean, how gorgeous is the solid tortoiseshell cuff going to look next to this bracelet and a Michael Kors watch?
My jaw dropped when I saw the price on this baby. $3.59. Not joking.
My favorite candles are by Voluspa, and I've just acquired a new obsession - the Moso Bamboo. Even better, it comes in this gorgeous jar, which looks gorgeous on a nightstand.
The sunglasses are my go-to favorites from Super, a daily necessity considering I've been riding with the top down and the wind in my hair all week long.
Get out there and enjoy some sunshine. Happy Weekend!
