When it comes to legitimate, honest-to-Friday closet staples that can go from day to night, week to week without loss of shape or enthusiasm, those basics can be hard to find. So when you snag something like the perfect white tank or the best pair of jeans you've ever worn, look into doubling up on that item. You don't have to buy it at the same time (especially if budget is an issue), but there's nothing wrong with stocking up on truly staple items that you'll wear forever.
